How to replace the red indicator light of 7210 laser scanner galvo
The red indicator, also some peoples call it red light point, it is a simple and practical small function，it will be combined with the red light of the scanner, to help you quickly find the right focal length. If it is broken, no need to replace the whole scanner, just replace the light. Very easy.
How to replace the laser head galvo light pointer of fiber laser marking machine?
Follow us step by step, very simple.
Unscrew the screws of the housing with an allen wrench (Some versions do not have set screws, please ignore this step), unscrew the screws of the red pointers .
Open the top cover, find out the red and black wires which are connected to the damaged red pointer, cut these two wires off.
Remove the damaged pointer, replace it with a new one, put back the shim.
Cover back the housing and pay attention not to press on any wire, find the hole position and then screw back the screws through the shim .
Open the top cover of the scanner again, find out the wires of the new red pointer, cut off the not necessary part if wires are too long.
Cut off a short end of the covered wire, put in heat-shrinkable tubings before wiring, connect the red wire to red wire, and the black wire to black wire(It would be better to weld the wires with an electric soldering iron, if possible.) Move the heat-shrinkable tubing to the interface and then heat it with a lighter (same for black wire)
Cover the housing and install well the screws, install the fixed galvo head into the machine for testing and fixing the position of replaced red pointer . Manually move the red dot towards the middle, so that the red dots focalize at the center, fix the red pointer after adjustment
NOTE: Don’t forget to turn off the red pointer when you don’t use the machine.
This good habit will extend its service life, reduced maintenance costs.
